Power of Attorney

In accordance with the Consular Regulations and the Law on Notary of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Consuls have entitled to issue Power of Attorney for persons and legal entities.

Power of Attorney issued at the Consulate General for US citizens and non-US citizens legally residing within the consular district is intended for use only on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan (for the citizens of Azerbaijan Republic, please click here).

Consul will require proof of identity from the applicant. The identity of a U.S. citizen shall be determined on the basis of passport, driver’s license or another form of government-issued ID.

The identity of a non-US citizen shall be determined on the basis of an official document issued by a U.S. local authority.

Capacity of a legal entity shall be determined on the basis of the by-law documents and documents certifying that the applicant is authorized to represent the said entity.
The consular fee for notarization only is 50 USD.
