Transit and Short stay single entry Visas

Transit and short stay single entry visas for US citizens only (up to 7 days) could be obtained at the Visa section of Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Republic at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, upon arrival. In this case, the applicant has to fill in a visa application form upon arrival, to attach 2 passport sized photos and to pay consular fee (equal to corresponding rates as given above, but cash payments only).

Visitor Visa (Homestay Visa)

To apply for a visitor visa an applicant should submit a completed visa application, valid passport, two passport sized photos, Money Order or Certified Bank Check (see General Information) and original visa support letter (Devetname) of the inviting party (applicant’s relatives or friends) sent through the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The support letter must contain full name of the invited person, his/her date of birth, passport number, duration of stay in Azerbaijan, exact address and contact information of the inviting party and be accompanied by a photocopy of identification document (Shexsiyyet vesiqesi) of the inviting party.
